GEOMetric Studio was built around a frustration: AI models give different answers to the same question. Small changes to phrasing can shift a recommendation. Run the same document through the same prompt twice and you might get different scores. For consumer applications that variation is tolerable. For business decisions like scaling ad spend, flagging a transaction or assessing a trade document, it isn't.
The answer isn't a better model. It's better structure around it. Evaluation frameworks that catch prompt drift before it reaches production. Deterministic scoring rules that produce the same output every time. Audit trails that make every decision traceable. That's what GEOMetric Studio builds.
Before GEOMetric Studio, its founder Walter spent years in retail software support, helping businesses implement and troubleshoot their systems. That hands-on experience with real business operations, covering inventory, point of sale, integrations and the messy reality of how businesses actually work, became the foundation for building systems that solve real problems rather than theoretical ones.
The shift into AI and web development started as a side project: a Shopify store that needed more than a template. Then an AI integration for a trade finance firm. Then an SEO campaign built around data, not guesswork. Each project pulled the work further from generic development and closer to something specific: building intelligent systems that extract value from complex, unstructured information.
GEOMetric Studio is a Melbourne-based consultancy that builds AI-powered data pipelines and intelligent ecommerce systems. We work with businesses that have document-heavy operations (trade finance, compliance, logistics) and DTC brands that need more than a theme install.
The name is deliberate. Geometric thinking - structured, precise, pattern-based - is what we bring to problems that most people approach with brute force. Every document has a structure. Every process has a pattern. Our job is to find it and build systems that exploit it.
We'd rather ship something auditable than something fast. Systems built for regulated industries need to be defensible, not just functional.
Not everything needs a language model. We use AI for what it's good at (extraction, classification, querying) and deterministic logic for what needs to be consistent.
No account managers, no layers of abstraction. You talk to the person building your system. Status updates are clear and honest.
We don't guess. SEO strategy is driven by search data. Pipeline design is driven by document analysis. Recommendations are grounded in evidence.
